Metadata Technology recently gave an SDMX training course at The Department of Statistics (DOS) in Jordan, who hosted a four-day Workshop on SDMX/DevInfo and MDG (Millenium Development Goals) Data Reporting, organized by the Statistics Division of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN-ESCWA) in collaboration with the United Nations Statistics Division of New York, and the African Development Bank (AfDB).

The US National Science Foundation (NSF) recently announced the launch of the SED Tabulation Engine, a pilot data tool that the  to provide access to selected variables from the Survey of Earned Doctorates. The application was developed through a contract from the National Science Foundation’s National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES) to NORC at University of Chicago, with a subcontract to Metadata Technology North America.

NSF launches SED Tabulation Engine

The US National Science Foundation (NSF) recently announced the launch of the SED Tabulation Engine, a pilot data tool that the National Science Foundation is testing to provide access to selected variables from the Survey of Earned Doctorates, to complement the existing WebCASPAR tool.  The tabulation engine includes a disclosure control mechanism that protects the identity of respondents when using the gender, citizenship, and race/ethnicity variables.
